Game Overview

Fling! is an adventure game where you play an ogre with some anxiety issues. You must fight your way through the forest using a collection of characters that are friendly to your cause. Each of the characters has unique strengths and uses and you must use all of them to make it through the forest.

Work Done

Fling! was a twenty week project done by a team of two for the first ten weeks and four for the last ten weeks. As the lead programmer on the project, I designed and implemented a new engine from the ground up and developed a toolchain for getting assets into the game. During the second ten week period, I worked on engine improvements and gameplay coding.

Game Overview

Spiral throws you into battle with an evil demon while you try to escape on your trusty dragon. Your only means of attack are to shoot the demon’s minions with your bow and arrow.

Work Done

Spiral was done in three weeks by a team of five people. I was mainly the GUI, input, and gameplay programmer for the project. I worked directly with the 2D artist to ensure that all of the HUD elements were presented in an appealing manner.

Game Overview

Have you ever wanted to go flying down a half-pipe in the middle of outer space, dodging electric fences and trying to collect small orbs? Well thanks to Symmetra now you can. You control a small rocket ball as it flies down a half-pipe and your goal either by yourself or in two-player cooperative mode is to collect as many golden spheres as you can.

Work Done

Symmetra was a two and a half week project with two other programmers. I was in charge of procedurally generating the half-pipe, randomizing the obstacles and goal spheres, and helping with the physics engine.
